Service

Service is at the core of what we do. Through volunteering at nursing homes, collaborating with hospice organizations, and engaging with older adults in our community, we aim to build meaningful relationships and promote dignity, compassion, and connection across generations.

Our Activities

The Waterford

Weekday volunteering - We host bingo games while chatting with senior residents. The current timing of this event is every Wednesday 6-7pm.

Sodalis Assisted Living

Weekend volunteering - We spend time doing a variety of activities with older adults. This is a newer event! The current timing for it is every Saturday 2-4pm.

Hospital Cards

At the beginning of each month, we utilize our writing and drawing skills to make both get-well and holiday cards for patients at St. Jos Hospital.

Awareness Events

A few times every year, we put together events that raise awareness around topics like ageism, dementia, or fall prevention. Some of our notable events have been the Vaccine Tailgate and The Brain Health Event. Sometimes we feature guest speakers.

The Walk to End Alzheimer's

Every year, we participate in the The Walk to End Alzheimer's in College Station. We help with set-up and take-down along with the walk itself.
