Spring 2026 Events

Service is at the core of what we do. Through engaging with older adults in our community, we aim to build meaningful relationships and promote dignity, compassion, and connection across generations. See below the dates of our meetings, socials, weekly volunteering, and any other planned events for the semester.

Our Activities

The Waterford

Wednesdays 6-7pm
Sundays 2-4pm

We host bingo games (And sometimes other games) while chatting with senior residents. We also help with holiday events, like their Trunk or Treat and Christmas door-decorating competition. It's a cozy location to build long-term relationships with older individuals.

Sodalis Assisted Living

Fridays 3:30-5:00pm

We join a variety of activities with older adults, such as music and karaoke, watch parties, or domino games. It's a vibrant and modern place to get to know older adults from many backgrounds, and help out with whatever tasks come up.

Awareness Events

A few times every year, we put together events that raise awareness around topics like ageism, dementia, or fall prevention. Some of our notable events have been the Vaccine Tailgate, The Brain Health Event, and the Alzheimer's Research Panel. Often we feature guest speakers.

The Walk to End Alzheimer's

Every year, we participate in the The Walk to End Alzheimer's in College Station. We help with set-up and take-down along with the walk itself. This year, it will take place on Saturday, October 31st, 8:30-9:30am at Lake Walk Town Center Pavilion, 4107 Lake Atlas Drive (During the fall semester).

The Big Event

Every year, we participate in the the campus-wide Big Event, where we go to a local resident's home to help with their yard and home projects. This takes place on Saturday, March 21st 8:00am-2:30pm.
